Office of Student Affairs

What is OOSA?

Office of Student Affairs, most specifically the Student Council, is responsible for handling suggestions, complaints and ideas from LRs in order to make a better environment for everyone. In this department you are in close contact with LR on a daily basis, where their opinions and concerns are highly prioritised.

OOSA is the Ministry’s Mentorship Department, where Student Council – Mentors (HP/VA+) will be paired with lower ranked members to help them on their journey within MoM.

Difference between mentor and mentee

Mentors are members assigned to help other members through their journey at MoM, supporting them in their day-to-day tasks and on goings.

To be eligible to be a mentor you must be a dedicated knowledgeable member of the ministry.

You must be approachable and helpful! Mentees are people who have come to OOSA requiring help in their day to day at the Ministry.

Mentees will be assigned a mentor (they can have a preference) and can talk to their mentor about anything MoM related.

Requirements

  • Hold the rank of VA/HP +
  • Have lots of knowledge of all areas of the Ministry, to be able to support LRs.
  • Be approachable and understanding with an open mind.
  • Be able to dedicate time to your assigned Mentees.
